About Old Hickory

Named after former U.S. President Andrew Jackson’s nickname “Old Hickory,” this suburban neighborhood lies 14 miles northeast of Nashville in eastern Davidson County. The Cumberland River twists its way along the neighborhood’s north and west borders, while Old Hickory Lake sits to its east.
