Nashville Neighborhood Guide:
Mount Juliet
About Mount Juliet
Located less than 20 miles east of Downtown Nashville in western Wilson County, Mount Juliet sits between two national east-west routes, Interstate 40 and U.S. Route 70, better known as Lebanon Road. Known as an affordable, clean, and prosperous community, Mount Juliet has grown tremendously in recent years, both in terms of the number of residents and in business growth. It is speculated that the town’s name, the only one like it in the United States, pays homage to a manor home of the same name in Kilkenny, Ireland.
